Daily care support for disabled dogs

Daily care support for disabled dogs and the people who love them.

CarePaw OS helps caregivers of dogs with mobility loss organize what to check, track, and do today, from turning and skin checks to hygiene, comfort, enrichment, medication routines, and quality-of-life notes.

How CarePaw OS helps

1

Start with today's check-in

Review mobility, skin, hygiene, comfort, appetite, medication routines, enrichment, and rest.

2

Record what changed

Capture changes in turning, getting up, pressure spots, cleanup needs, comfort, interest, or anything you want to remember.

3

Choose a care focus

Turn the day's observations into a practical next focus, such as skin checks, hygiene, rest, enrichment, or a vet question.

4

Track patterns over time

See what keeps improving, worsening, or repeating across mobility, comfort, hygiene, and quality-of-life notes.

5

Bring clearer notes to care conversations

Use your care history to have more grounded conversations with your veterinarian, rehab team, or other caregivers.

Why daily care gets overwhelming

Daily disabled dog care can become overwhelming when important details live everywhere.

Care often gets spread across memory, notes, vet instructions, routines, and the moments when something suddenly feels different. CarePaw OS is built to help caregivers organize daily observations and care routines without pretending to diagnose or replace veterinary care.

  • Mobility changes, weakness, slipping, turning, appetite, and getting up can be hard to track day by day.
  • Pressure spots, skin checks, hygiene needs, and bladder or bowel routines need steady attention.
  • Medication routines, enrichment, comfort, questions for the vet, and quality-of-life observations can pile up quickly.

A calmer daily care rhythm

A practical way to move through today's care.

CarePaw OS helps caregivers move from scattered worry to a focused daily rhythm, while keeping clearer notes for veterinary, rehab, or family care conversations.

What you can track and organize

Everything small enough to forget, important enough to track.

CarePaw OS supports daily care check-ins and care history. It is not a medical app, and it does not diagnose, treat, or replace guidance from your veterinarian.

Daily care check-ins

Work through the care areas that matter today so fewer important details depend on memory alone.

Mobility tracking

Track changes in strength, stability, getting up, turning, walking, and support needs.

Skin and pressure sore notes

Keep pressure spots, skin checks, repositioning concerns, and prevention notes easier to review.

Hygiene and cleanup tracking

Record hygiene needs, accidents, cleanup routines, and patterns that may need follow-up.

Medication and routine support

Log medication routines, care tasks, feeding notes, and daily support needs in one place.

Enrichment and comfort ideas

Keep mental engagement, rest, comfort, and quality-of-life observations part of daily care.

Quality-of-life notes

Track appetite, interest, rest, comfort, frustration, and the moments you want to discuss with your care team.

Care history

Build a clearer record of what happened, what helped, and what changed over time.

Caregiver clarity

Turn a scattered list of worries, reminders, and vet questions into a practical focus for today.

Built for caregivers like you

For people caring for dogs with mobility loss.

CarePaw OS is built first for owners and caregivers doing the daily work at home: lifting, turning, cleaning, checking skin, watching comfort, offering enrichment, and wondering what needs attention next.

Disabled dog caregivers

For people caring for dogs who need help getting up, turning, staying clean, or staying comfortable.

Senior dog caregivers

For families managing arthritis, weakness, mobility decline, and changing comfort needs.

IVDD, DM, spinal injury, and FCE caregivers

For people tracking routines, mobility changes, hygiene, skin risk, enrichment, and quality-of-life notes.

Built from real disabled dog care

Built from daily life with Elijah.

CarePaw OS grew out of Jeff Tawater's daily care for Elijah, his disabled senior Belgian Malinois. As Elijah's mobility declined, care meant watching skin, hygiene, comfort, appetite, enrichment, rest, pressure risk, and quality-of-life changes every day. CarePaw OS is being built from that reality: not as a replacement for veterinary care, but as a practical way to help caregivers stay organized when the daily details matter.
